Provide light housekeeping services such as dusting, vacuuming, and laundry.

Assist with meal planning and preparation according to patient preferences and dietary needs.

Offer companionship and emotional support to patients.

Observe and report changes in the patient’s environment or condition to the supervising nurse.

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.

Follow infection control and safety procedures during service delivery.

Document services provided accurately and timely.

Participate in in-service training and quality improvement activities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Previous experience in a caregiving or homemaker role preferred; hospice experience is a plus.
Compassionate demeanor, effective communication skills, and ability to follow instructions.

Works in patients’ homes in various conditions; possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
- Requires ability to travel locally and work a flexible schedule.
- May be exposed to unpleasant weather conditions.
Physical and Mental Effort:

Requires prolonged standing and walking, ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to manage stressful situations calmly and courteously and make quick decisions to meet patient needs.
