Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency and high standards of food quality and customer service
- Lead, motivate, and supervise team members in food preparation, cooking, and service activities to maintain a lively and productive work environment
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction management
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock control, and coordinate food production to minimize waste and optimize resources
- Train new staff members on food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and customer service expectations
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards across all kitchen and front-of-house areas
- Support management with shift scheduling, interviewing potential team members, and implementing training & development initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants
- Strong background in POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential
- Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling and production
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster teamwork
- Previous experience in restaurant management or food service management is highly desirable
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality management or culinary experience is a plus; experience with catering or banquet services is beneficial
