Mechanic Shop Helper
Position Summary:
The Mechanic Shop Helper supports the daily operations of the shop by assisting technicians, maintaining a clean and organized facility, and providing excellent customer service. This position is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, a valid driver's license, and an interest in the automotive industry.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Pick up and drop off customers safely and professionally.
- Pick up automotive parts and supplies from vendors.
- Clean and organize the shop, office, and customer waiting area.
- Test drive vehicles before and after repairs as directed.
- Move vehicles around the shop and parking lot.
- Wash and prepare customer vehicles when needed.
- Maintain shop cleanliness, including emptying trash and keeping work areas organized.
- Assist technicians with basic shop tasks as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Friendly, professional attitude with good customer service skills.
- Automotive experience is a plus but not required.

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
