CNC set up position, candidate must have a MINIMUM 5 years experience
Must be able to read, speak and write English; must be able to read blueprints and read all gauging and measuring tools; must be capable of standing for a long period and be able to carry approximately fifty (50) lbs occasionally.
Use procedure /tool sheet to set up the job and then be able to operate CNC vertical/horizontal milling machines; use various gauging and measuring tools (verniers, micrometers, gage pins and thread gages); read blueprints; understand and demonstrate safe job practices; complete job related paperwork, checklists, production logs, etc.; maintain quality; achieve production rate; maintain neat and orderly work area; bend to lift loads frequently; wear required safety equipment at all times.
