Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Long-Term Acute Health team (LTACH). The ideal candidate would have proficiency in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, critical care, or urgent care.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Manage acute care cases and provide critical care support in hospital environments, focused on low-intensity critical care and in-hospital medicine.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation, data collection, and medical records management.
- Prescribe medications in compliance with DEA regulations.
- Assist with triage, discharge planning, and follow-up care for diverse patient populations across outpatient, inpatient, hospice, and palliative settings.
- Support infection control protocols and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
- Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current state certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in either hospital medicine, emergency medicine, critical care, or urgent care environments.
- Experience performing procedures such as intubation, ventilator management, and airway management is recommended, not required.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; telehealth experience is a plus.
- Communication skills with the ability to educate patients on health coaching topics like family planning or addiction counseling.
Pay: $110.00 - $130.00 per hour
