Title: Account Manager, Ticket & Group Sales
Location: Stockton, CA
Reports to: Director, Sales & Services
FLSA Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Position Summary
The Stockton Kings are seeking a driven, relationship-focused Account Manager, Ticket & Group Sales to generate ticket revenue and create memorable experiences for fans, businesses, organizations, and community groups.
This role is responsible for developing new business and selling a variety of Stockton Kings ticket products, with an emphasis on group tickets and experiences, season memberships, and other ticket packages. The Account Manager will build relationships with prospective customers, identify opportunities within the community, and develop customized experiences that drive attendance and long-term engagement with the Stockton Kings.
Key Responsibilities
Ticket & Group Sales

Meet or exceed individual revenue, activity, and performance goals across Stockton Kings ticket products.

Generate new business through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, appointments, events, and community outreach.

Sell group tickets and experiences, season memberships, premium products, and other ticket packages.

Develop relationships with businesses, schools, youth sports organizations, nonprofits, community groups, and other prospective customers.

Create customized group experiences and ticket packages based on customer needs and objectives.

Conduct in-person and virtual sales presentations, arena appointments, and group leader meetings.

Identify opportunities to grow business through repeat purchases, referrals, upgrades, and additional experiences.

Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently follow up with prospects and customers.
Customer Experience & Relationship Management

Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers and group leaders from initial sale through event execution.

Deliver proactive, personalized service that encourages repeat business and long-term relationships.

Coordinate group experiences, special ticket programs, and event-day details to ensure successful execution.

Respond to customer questions and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Game Day & Event Responsibilities

Work Stockton Kings home games and select events, supporting sales and customer engagement initiatives.

Connect with prospects and customers through appointments, sales tables, group experiences, and in-game events.

Support the execution of group benefits, fan experiences, and special ticket programs.
Sales Operations & Collaboration

Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, opportunities, and account information in Salesforce and ticketing systems.

Process ticket orders and payments accurately and ensure proper fulfillment.

Partner with Marketing, Community Relations, Partnerships, and Game Entertainment to identify leads and develop compelling group experiences.

Participate in ongoing sales training, coaching, and professional development.

Share customer feedback and marketplace insights to help improve ticket products and sales strategies.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.

Previous ticket sales, group sales, business development, hospitality, or other revenue-generating experience preferred.

Strong prospecting, sales, and relationship-building skills.

Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Highly motivated with strong personal accountability and a desire to achieve goals.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customers, events, and priorities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce and ticketing platform experience preferred.

Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, home games, and select events as required.
Compensation:
Total Anticipated First-Year Earnings: $42,000–$65,000+, including base salary, commission, and bonus.
- Base Salary: $42,000
- Commission: Unlimited earning potential
- Bonus: Eligible for a competitive team bonus pool
