The Cross Country Coach is responsible for managing the Dartmouth Eagles Cross Country team. This includes, but is not limited to:

Promoting good sportsmanship, team cooperation, and communication with athletes.

Teaching fundamental running techniques, racing strategies, and training methods.

Holding and running practices — Monday through Friday, 3:05 PM – 4:00 PM.

Attending and supervising all meet days on Wednesdays (off campus; meets begin at 4:00 PM).

Notifying students and parents of practice and race schedules.

Maintaining accurate attendance records and parent communication throughout the season.

Reporting all race results to the Athletic Director promptly after each meet.

Managing uniforms, equipment, and first aid kits; returning all items cleaned at end of season.

Attending all league, division, and county coaches' association meetings for the sport.

Ensuring student-athletes remain supervised at all times at away competitions.

Reviewing and signing the PCA (Positive Coaching Alliance) Pledge with coaches, players, and parents.

Driving to and from visiting schools (valid CA driver's license required)
