We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Overnight Mental Health Specialist to provide high-quality behavioral health support during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in crisis intervention, behavioral management, and working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents by ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional stability throughout the night.
- Monitor and support children’s emotional and behavioral needs during overnight shifts, ensuring a safe environment.
- Conduct behavioral assessments and implement individualized care plans based on clinical guidelines.
- Respond promptly and effectively to crises or behavioral incidents using de-escalation techniques and crisis management protocols.
- Assist with medication administration following medical records procedures while maintaining accuracy in documentation.
- Collect data related to behavior management, vital signs, and other health indicators for ongoing assessment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, including special education, addiction counseling, or autism support as needed.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Support families through intake processes and provide updates on client progress during overnight hours.
Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
