CAD Designer, COOPERWORKS

Classification: Exempt
Location: Millstadt, IL
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000

Duties/Responsibilities:

Utilize and incorporate engineering and manufacturing standards.
Assist engineers in 3D modeling and drawing creation.
Work with manufacturing engineers in processing documentation and work instructions.
Work with Sales with initial concept approval drawings.
Prepare bills of material (BOM's) for specific designs as they are developed and detailed.
Work in a team environment.
Communicate effectively to team and manufacturing personnel.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Associates Degree and/or minimum two years' experience in drafting and design support.
Highly proficient in Cabinet Vision, OR similar system Mozaik, Microvellum, KCD Software or Cabinet Pro
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience with plastic laminate and manufacturing
Experience with ERP systems and product data management.
