Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dishwashing area.
- Deliver food to guests quickly and accurately.
- Assist the kitchen and front-of-house team during busy service.
- Restock kitchen supplies, dishes, and utensils as needed.
- Empty trash and assist with general kitchen cleaning.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Help with opening, closing, and other assigned kitchen duties.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work well as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety procedures, and kitchen health standards is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts.
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude that promotes teamwork in a fast-paced setting.
- Prior banquet, catering, hotel, or culinary experience is advantageous for those seeking to expand their hospitality expertise.
