Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to lead and optimize the supply chain and manufacturing operations within an automotive Tier 1 automotive manufacturing operation supplying OEM customers. In this pivotal role you must provide strategic and operational leadership for Production, Materials, Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement functions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence operational efficiency in a fast-paced, innovative automotive manufacturing setting. The Operations Manager is responsible for achieving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people objectives while ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements, and corporate standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all manufacturing operations within a high-volume automotive injection molding environment.
- Drive operational excellence across Production, Materials, Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and Logistics.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, customer-specific requirements, and OEM expectations.
- Monitor and improve KPIs including OEE, scrap, PPM, downtime, labor efficiency, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with corporate leadership regarding operational performance, budgeting, capital expenditures, and strategic initiatives.
- Support new product launches and program management activities.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and root cause analysis.
- Manage workforce planning, staffing, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Ability to analyze complex supply chain data for strategic insights using supply chain analytics tools.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of automotive manufacturing leadership experience.
- Minimum 5 years leading multiple functional departments.
- Experience supporting Tier 1 automotive customers and OEM requirements.
- Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding processes.
- Experience with IATF 16949 systems and audits.
- Proven leadership of multi-shift manufacturing operations.
Preferred:
- Lean Six Sigma Certification.
- Experience with automated manufacturing systems.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and Control Plans.
- Experience leading launch and program management activities.
