Position Overview
The Production Worker is responsible for supporting the assembly and packaging of various protective coating kits. This role requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to follow established procedures. As you gain experience, there is significant opportunity for advancement into tasks such as liquid filling and more complex production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Read, understand, and follow written instructions and established production procedures
- Collect and prepare all materials and equipment required for each production run
- Take precise measurements to ensure proper fit and accuracy of components
- Select or adjust components according to measurements and product specifications
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Accurately record production quantities, time, and other required data
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, defects, or production issues
- Support general production needs as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time throughout the shift
- Strong understanding of basic quality control principles
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and overall physical capability
- Must have reliable transportation
- Experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred but not required
