Paws and Prayers Pet Rescue has a part-time position available for Cat Care Attendant to work at our Cuyahoga Falls office every Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 9a to 4p
Responsibilities: cleaning and sanitizing cat cages and general population cat room, feeding and caring for cats, medicating cats, assessing the health of each cat for both physical illness and mental status changes and notifying the appropriate persons followed up by taking appropriate action as directed, assisting medical staff when necessary, transporting animals as necessary, light office work, keeping the cat area in a healthy state of cleanliness for the animals, and any other related duties in caring for our cats/kittens and their environment.
Requirements: Successful candidate must be self-motivated, caring, energetic, honest, and want to work. Candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our fosters, volunteers, adopters, staff, and the animals. Experience with animals is mandatory. Candidates must be punctual and dependable. This job is a physical job so candidate must be able to lift at least 40lbs. Candidates must have reliable transportation. Must be comfortable with cats.
This position affords the ability to work additional shifts to cover for illness and vacations, as well as training to work with our dogs.
