Job Summary
The Munching Meeple is excited to welcome enthusiastic individuals to join our team in both Front of House and Back of House roles. We are hiring several positions: assistant baker, dishwasher and server. Whether you're serving up smiles at the counter or ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly behind the scenes, your energy and dedication will help us deliver exceptional service and a fun atmosphere for all. All positions are paid, and we’re looking for team players who are eager to grow with us!
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and ensuring their experience exceeds expectations
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions quickly and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations in accordance with food safety management protocols
- Assist in food preparation, plating, and presentation to uphold quality standards
- Follow proper sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for staff and guests
- Support back-of-house operations by managing inventory, restocking supplies, and assisting with food safety procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and resolve any guest concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all!
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally for servers
- Experience using POS systems is a plus but training will be provided
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food safety, restaurant operations, and team collaboration
- Must be at least 16 years old (or as required by local labor laws)
