We're a GREAT company looking for GREAT people to join our team! Carpet One Floor & Home is currently seeking a skilled Sales Assistant for our showroom.
About the Role
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with administrative experience to undertake various tasks. To be successful, the candidate must possess excellent organizational skills, a willingness to learn, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
The following are some key responsibilities and expectations for this position:

Help salespeople with day-to-day tasks and provide support when needed

Record and maintain accurate customer data, including orders and claims
-
Develop relationships with customers and prospective clients to grow our customer base
-
Participate in product selection for our showroom and stay up-to-date on our extensive flooring options
-
Collaborate with the Manager to create tools and procedures that streamline our work processes
-
Enter jobs and services into our computer system
-
Process returns and assist with paperwork
-
Provide exceptional customer service and follow up on customer requests and concerns
-
Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry and record retention
-
Effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management
-
Assist with receiving payment and obtaining credit authorization
-
Stay organized and manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
-
Contribute to a positive and productive work environment by working effectively with other employees
Requirements
GREAT candidates for the Sales Assistant position will have:

Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
-
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as math skills
-
Professionalism, to include dependability, accountability, and punctuality

Time management skills for juggling multiple deadlines and deliveries

Self-motivated and internally driven to excel

A passion for developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships
