American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT(RT) and ARRT(CT) certifications and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

13-week contract in a hospital radiology/diagnostic imaging department
-
CT procedures performed on a Toshiba Aquilion 64-slice scanner
-
Monday through Friday schedule, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (evening shift)

40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
-
On-call responsibilities required
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience in CT and diagnostic radiology
-
Active ARRT(RT) and ARRT(CT) certifications required
-
Current BLS/BCLS certification required
-
Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiology required
-
Active WA state license required, if applicable
-
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy required

Ability to meet moderate to heavy physical demands, including lifting up to 40 lbs, pushing a 150 lb loaded stretcher 300 feet, and reaching overhead while holding 25 lbs

Good stamina, flexibility, manual dexterity, and motor skills required

Proficiency with computer systems required

DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Perform CT procedures, including invasive procedures, under the direction of the Radiology Manager and Radiologist

Responsible for patient positioning, patient instruction, equipment operation, and determination of technical exposure factors

Must ensure correct marking and labeling of all images

Demonstrates accurate clinical judgment and decision-making consistent with radiology knowledge

Provides quality customer service and patient care in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures
