This is a local dedicated refrigerated position in the Southwest Florida area. Two to three stops a night, and you're back home every morning. If you live within 45 miles of Fort Ogden and want off the road for good this one is worth a call.
Pay breakdown
- Base pay $0.43 to $0.51 CPM based on experience
- Weekend differential additional $0.06 CPM Friday 5pm to Monday 4am
- Weekend total pay ranges from $0.49 to $0.57 CPM
- $10.00 stop pay all stops, every time
- Average 2 to 3 stops per day depending on load type
- Driver Performance Bonus available for full-time drivers
- $1,400 average weekly gross pay varies based on driver participation
The schedule
- Night shift home daily after your run
- Weekend, holiday, and night work required freight runs 365 days a year
- No scheduled days off days off determined by available hours and freight volume
- Occasional out-of-state runs available for drivers who volunteer
The freight
- Refrigerated account primarily perishable freight with some non-perishable loads
- 100% no-touch freight no unloading required
- 2,000 to 2,300 miles per week depending on driver participation
- Automatic transmission fleet
