Position Summary
The Cart Attendant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the golf cart services department while ensuring exceptional guest service throughout the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort. This position supervises and assists Cart Attendants in preparing, staging, cleaning, stocking, and maintaining golf carts and related facilities. The Cart Attendant Supervisor plays a key role in creating a positive guest experience by ensuring efficient operations, maintaining service standards, and supporting golf operations from guest arrival through departure.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise, train, coach, and support Cart Attendants in daily operations.
- Schedule and assign daily work responsibilities to staff.
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback to ensure service excellence.
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
- Ensure compliance with resort policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Golf Cart Operations
- Oversee the preparation, cleaning, staging, and storage of golf carts.
- Ensure carts are fully charged, operational, clean, and ready for guest use.
- Monitor cart inventory and coordinate maintenance needs with appropriate departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart barn, bag drop area, and related facilities.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of guest golf bags and personal property.
Guest Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests, members, and visitors.
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with bag drop, cart assignment, and departure services.
- Address guest concerns and resolve service issues professionally and promptly.
- Promote a welcoming and professional atmosphere throughout the resort.
Operational Support
- Coordinate with Golf Operations, Tournament Operations, and Pro Shop staff regarding daily play, events, and tournaments.
- Assist with tournament preparation and execution, including cart assignments and event logistics.
- Communicate course conditions, operational needs, and staffing concerns to management.
- Monitor workflow and adjust staffing assignments as needed to maintain service standards.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure safe operation of golf carts and equipment.
- Enforce all safety policies and procedures.
- Report accidents, incidents, and equipment issues immediately.
- Maintain compliance with Tribal, federal, state, and departmental regulations.
- Perform additional duties and operational support tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Previous experience in golf operations, hospitality, customer service, or resort operations preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of golf operations and tournament support preferred.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism when interacting with guests and team members.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings or evenings.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including heat, sun, and wind exposure.
- Ability to stand, walk, and drive golf carts throughout the shift. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to move throughout multiple golf course locations and practice facilities
Work Environment
This position primarily works outdoors at the golf resort driving range and practice facilities. Team Members are expected to maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive guest experience while supporting the overall operations of Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort.
