About the Role:
We are currently seeking 2 experienced Foremans to lead and supervise underground utility crews in a fast-paced civil construction environment. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in installing sewer, storm drain, and water lines, as well as a proven ability to operate heavy equipment and interpret construction drawings and site plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead crews in the installation of underground utilities (sewer, storm drain, water).
Operate heavy machinery, including trackhoes, dozers, and loaders as needed.
Read and interpret site plans and blueprints to ensure accurate work.
Check grades and elevations to maintain project specifications.
Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on the job site.
Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and other team members.
Monitor crew performance and help train less experienced workers.
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of experience installing sewer, storm drain, and water pipes in a civil construction setting.
Proficient in operating heavy machinery (trackhoe, dozer, loader).
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and check elevations accurately.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Commitment to job site safety and adherence to OSHA standards.
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).
