Now Hiring! We are looking to add strong multi-taskers with an eye for detail who enjoy accomplishing tasks as part of a team!
Job Responsibilities
- Inspecting, Receiving, Shipping, Operating Saw and various other responsibilities to support production.
- Properly route parts throughout the production process and keep accurate records. Participate in scheduling responsibilities.
- Operate various saws safely and efficiently.
- Ensure on-time delivery to customers by managing multiple priorities in a timely manner.
- Inspect incoming product to make sure it conforms with requirements. Monitor due dates for incoming product and report overdue items.
- Manage inventory levels.
- Harmonize with other team members to ensure smooth interdepartmental processes.
- Some heavy lifting required, up to 75 lbs. Stand up to 8-10 hours a day.
- Verify measurements and other specifications with Blueprints using a variety of inspection equipment such as rockwell tester, comparator, micrometer and caliper
- Accurately mark and prep items according to customer specifications for shipping.
- Other responsibilities as required; we are a team that wears many hats!
Skills
- Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritize work
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on accomplishing work as part of a team and being willing to "lend a hand"
- Attention to detail
- Able to produce accurate work efficiently
- Working knowledge of computers, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Comfortable with learning new computer software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Highly motivated to achieve
- Comfortable with simple calculations and using a calculator
