Genesis Laser & Vein is seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, enjoys helping patients, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the daily operations of our vein clinic.

- Provide outstanding customer service to all patients and visitors

Check patients in and out for appointments efficiently and accurately

Schedule appointments and manage provider schedules
-
Collect and verify insurance information
-
Update patient demographics and verify insurance eligibility
-
Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
-
Assist new patients with intake kiosk registration
-
Manage and maintain patient waitlists
-
Review prior authorizations with patients and explain out-of-pocket costs
-
Calculate and communicate patient financial responsibility
-
Conduct appointment reminder calls and communications
-
Maintain a clean, organized reception area, lobby, and coffee bar
-
Balance daily batches and cash drawer accurately
-
Educate patients on compression stockings and recommend appropriate options
-
Maintain inventory of compression stockings and Dermaka products
-
Support clinic operations with professionalism and attention to detail
-
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
-
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
