Billing Responsibilities
- Submit and track insurance claims for mental health services.
- Verify client insurance benefits and eligibility prior to appointments.
- Monitor claim status and follow up on denied, rejected, or unpaid claims.
- Process client payments and maintain accurate billing records.
- Assist clients with billing questions and payment arrangements.
- Reconcile billing reports and maintain financial documentation.
- Coordinate with insurance companies regarding authorizations and claim issues.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and insurance regulations.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm client appointments.
- Complete client intake paperwork and maintain electronic health records.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and obtaining required documentation.
- Maintain office supplies and administrative systems.
- Support therapists and leadership with administrative tasks.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client and agency information.
QualificationsRequired
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic record systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred
- Experience with medical billing, behavioral health billing, or insurance claims.
- Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance processes.
- Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Associate’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
