Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across diverse routes with energy and precision! This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a sleeper tractor with a 53' dry van trailer. You’ll be the backbone of our logistics operation, ensuring timely deliveries, safe load handling, and exceptional customer service. Duties
- Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers using automatic transmission when required.
- Drive assigned routes confidently, ensuring timely deliveries across local or regional destinations.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight documentation, and delivery records in compliance with federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route changes or delivery updates.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience required.
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating different types of trucks preferred.
- Proficiency in automatic transmission driving is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in freight delivery or route driving is advantageous.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to truck driving and freight handling.
