Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Self Storage Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in the self-storage industry and possess strong customer service, sales, and property management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the storage facility
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns
- Rent storage units and achieve sales goals
- Conduct facility inspections and maintain property appearance
- Manage delinquent accounts and collections
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Assist with marketing and local outreach efforts
- Support the Facility Manager as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of self-storage industry experience required
- Strong sales and customer service background
- Experience with storage management software preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer proficiency
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with collections and lien sale processes
- Bilingual (if applicable)
- Knowledge of self-storage operational best practices
