Brass City Charter School is a high-performing PK–8 public charter school in Waterbury, Connecticut, founded on two guiding principles: rigorous academics and social-emotional learning. As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we are seeking an ELA teacher for our departmentalized Grade 5/6 program. Inspire students to become skilled readers, thoughtful writers, and confident communicators through engaging, standards-based instruction.

Qualifications
Candidates must hold (or be eligible for) the appropriate Connecticut teaching certification for the position.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based literacy instruction.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to continuously improve instructional practice.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
