The Child Development Center of Branford is looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable teacher to join out team! We are currently hiring for our preschool 3 classroom and are looking for someone who enjoys creating a positive, engaging environment where children can learn and grow.
This position is currently scheduled for:
Monday and Friday 8-5:30 and Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday 2-5:30 (we do offer additional hours if interested)
What you'll do:
- Create a safe, nurturing and engaging classroom environment
- Support children through daily routines and age-appropriate activities
- Encourage social, emotional, and developmental growth
- Communicate positively with children, families, and team members
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
What we are looking for:
- Experience working with young children (daycare or early childhood experience preferred)
- Dependable, patient and team-oriented
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced classroom environment
- Passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Child Development Associate Certification preferred
- Previous experience in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood setting is a plus
