Step onto the floor of a modern manufacturing shop where precision and pace go hand-in-hand. As our Industrial Wet Spray Coatings Technician, you’ll begin your afternoon by reviewing color codes, mixing charts, and customer specifications. You’ll prep steel components, dial in your spray settings, and move seamlessly between the booth and the line—inspecting finishes, adjusting flow, and keeping production on schedule. By shift’s end, your station is cleaned, equipment is maintained, and orders are ready to ship on time.

Prepare steel parts for coating per job specs and work instructions.

Apply primer and finish coats using wet spray techniques aligned to customer requirements.

Interpret specifications, color codes, and mixing charts; follow both written and verbal directions.

Operate spray guns, hoppers/paint pots, and booth collection systems safely and effectively.

Monitor gauges and observe equipment performance to catch and correct defects.

Perform visual inspections to verify paint flow, coverage, and coating quality.

Meet quality standards and on-time delivery targets while maintaining throughput.

Load and unload parts onto fixtures as needed to support continuous operations.

Clean and maintain spray equipment; handle supplies and waste per company procedures.

Adhere to safety practices to promote a safe, compliant work environment.

Previous painting experience is required; strong industrial painting background preferred.

Working knowledge of painting equipment mechanics and basic repair.

Ability to perform all essential duties reliably with strong attention to detail.

Comfort working in a fast-paced setting and independently with minimal supervision.

Commitment to maintaining a safe, orderly, and clean work area.
This position operates in a manufacturing environment and routinely utilizes paint equipment. You may occasionally encounter loud noise, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Work may involve chemicals referenced in accessible Safety Data Sheets and exposure to significant temperature changes during an eight-hour shift.
