Duties
- Operate and monitor sausage production machinery, including mixers, grinders, stuffing machines, and ovens, ensuring optimal performance throughout shifts
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or potential malfunctions, troubleshooting mechanical issues as they arise
- Follow strict sanitation and cleaning procedures to maintain hygiene standards in accordance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
- Assist in food preparation processes such as portioning, seasoning, and packaging to ensure consistent product quality
- Maintain accurate production logs, quality control documentation, and safety records during each shift
- Support food safety protocols by handling ingredients properly, practicing good food handling techniques, and adhering to all sanitation standards
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely when moving raw materials or finished products within the facility
Experience
- Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or a kitchen environment is highly desirable; restaurant or culinary experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety practices including HACCP and CGMP standards
- Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills for machinery maintenance and repair
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, HACCP, SSOP
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and ingredient portions accurately
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is advantageous but not mandatory; certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation, quality assurance, and safety compliance
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull 40 pounds or more
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods during scheduled shifts

Pay: $19.68 - $20.68 per hour
