Capital Materials is currently seeking Groundman / Cement Handling Operator to support concrete plant operations for the 2026 construction season. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Groundman / Cement Handling Operator. This role is critical to daily plant operations and requires strong mechanical ability and attention to detail.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Unload pneumatic tankers (cement, fly ash) safely and efficiently
Monitor and maintain powder systems, silos, and related equipment
Perform routine inspections and basic mechanical plant maintenance
Assist with plant operations, cleanup, and general labor duties
Identify and report equipment issues to prevent downtime
Follow all safety procedures and plant protocols
Qualifications & Requirements
Mechanical aptitude required (hands-on experience preferred)
Experience unloading pneumatic tankers strongly preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-production environment
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Dependable with strong work ethic and team mindset
