Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer focused on software, APIs, and systems integration. You’ll be the bridge between our AI models, customer IT environments, and factory workflows — ensuring deployments are stable, scalable, and user-friendly.
Responsibilities
- Act as lead technical contact for software integration with customer systems.
- Configure and deploy AI inference servers (Docker, Triton, on-prem/cloud).
- Develop and maintain APIs (REST/gRPC/WebSockets) for integration with ERP/MES/PLC.
- Support full-stack development: dashboards, workflow automation, and database management.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch) or equivalent cloud platforms.
- Troubleshoot software, networking, and data pipeline issues on-site.
- Train customer engineers on system use and integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5–7+ years in software engineering, system integration, or full-stack development.
- Strong with Python/Node.js, React/Angular, SQL/NoSQL DBs.
- Solid understanding of APIs, cloud/edge deployment, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, networking). Azure/GCP experience also acceptable.
- Familiar with MLOps or AI model deployment preferred.
- Comfortable working with factory IT and automation teams.
- Excellent communication skills for customer-facing technical roles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
