Luxury Showroom ‘Operations & Administration Associate’ | Drummonds NYC
Location: A&D Building, Manhattan Role Type: Showroom Operations, Administration and Customer Support.
Drummonds is a world leader in luxury, handcrafted bathrooms. We are looking for motivated, hands-on showroom support to join our flagship NYC showroom.
The Role
Are you looking to transition your existing retail or hospitality experience into a professional, daytime career? Enjoy fixed hours (Monday–Friday, 9am thru 5pm) with no late nights or weekends.
Reporting directly to the Country Manager, you’ll be part of the showroom team providing support and administrative duties to the sales team. From greeting clients on arrival and making them feel welcome, organizing meetings with clients and the senior sales team to assisting them on administrative tasks to close a deal - you’ll combine hands-on support with proactive showroom management, ensuring every client receives a five-star welcome and our displays remain in peak condition.
Key Responsibilities
- The Drummonds Welcome: Greet clients with warmth; provide tea, coffee, and expert guidance immediately upon entry.
- Sales Drive: Manage walk-ins, booking appointments, direct leads to senior sales team and follow-up where required to convert inquiries into sales.
- Admin Excellence: Maintain the company’s CRM (HubSpot), process transactions, and effectively field inbound inquiries via phone and email.
- Support the team as required in its efforts to expand the company’s reach across the US.
- Work with Country Manager to identify growth opportunities and support where needed to meet sales targets.
Showroom & Operations
- Visual Standards: Conduct weekly stock takes of main displays. Identify missing items and ensure replacements are ordered immediately.
- The Details: Maintain a pristine environment; preparing the showroom for meetings and presentations as well as ~2 hours of cleaning per week (amenities and displays) to meet luxury expectations.
- Presentation Ready: Clean and prep display cases for client presentations; manage all incoming and outgoing deliveries and collections.
- Kitchen & Amenities: Ensure the hospitality station is well-stocked and always presented perfectly.
About You
- Hands-on & Proactive: You’re a natural self-starter; you can follow tasks to meet objectives, but also see what needs to be done.
- Confident Communicator: You have a positive, approachable and ‘can-do’ attitude
- Organized Multitasker: You can juggle CRM data entry with showroom logistics as well as taking-on ad hoc tasks.
- Ideally have 1-2 years’ work experience preferably in a retail, hospitality or customer-facing role.
