Dental Hygienist
Location: Kenai, AK
Compensation: $60-$80/hr.

Requirements
- Current Alaska Dental Hygienist License
- Associate degree (or higher) in Dental Hygiene
- Two (2) or more years of Dental Hygienist experience
Valid Alaska Driver's License and ability to be insured under company policy

Day to Day
- Perform routine dental hygiene examinations, preventative treatments, and clinical dental hygiene services.
- Complete periodontal charting and maintain accurate patient records and chart notes.
- Review patient medical and dental histories and identify signs of periodontal disease and other abnormalities.
- Take and interpret digital and panoramic radiographs to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Perform teeth polishing, sealant applications, scaling, root planing, and other specialized dental hygiene procedures.
- Administer local anesthetic as permitted by licensure and clinical protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, disease prevention, and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Maintain appointment schedules and support efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.
- Assist with sterilization processes, inventory management, and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members to ensure exceptional care and service.
Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
