Hooked on Sushi is looking for hosts to join our strong team. We are located in Encinitas. This is a part time position that requires OPEN availability on Friday's and Saturdays. Restaurant and/or customer service experience required, sushi restaurant experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers entering and leaving the business
- Answer the phones (phone orders, questions, etc)
- Estimate wait time for guests
- Assign tables to servers in an organized manner
- Assist takeout orders from DoorDash
- Clean surrounding area and set tables when necessary
Qualifications
- Friendly attitude towards customers and coworkers
- Punctuality and quick to problem solve
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively in a busy environment
- Cleanliness and understanding of cleanliness in the food industry
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
