Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs.
- Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols.
- Assist doctor within office procedures such as Hysteroscopy D&C, Colposcopy, LEEP, etc...
- Manage patient documentation meticulously within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Athenahealth to ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current certification.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year required; GYN experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems Athenahealth is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate communication and teamwork abilities.
