JOB DESCRIPTION:
- LPNs collaborate with Staff RNs to ensure continuity, timeliness and appropriateness of care to patients
- Coordinates and/or administers medication, therapeutic agents, treatments, to inmate patients
- Assists physicians with medical treatments
- Administers prescribed medication
- Applies surgical dressings & bandages
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: 2 years of LPN experience
- Education: Associates preferred
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- Licenses and Certifications: Current Nursing License for the State of Michigan
