HealthBridge Children’s Hospital is seeking a dependable and compassionate Cook to join our team. In this role, you will help prepare and serve nutritious meals that support the health and well-being of the children and families we serve.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows food safety standards, and brings a positive, team-oriented attitude to the kitchen. Your work will play an important role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming dining experience.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare meals according to established recipes, dietary guidelines, and supervisor direction

Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen and dining areas

Deliver meals and trays to designated locations in a timely manner

Set up and break down dining areas, ensuring a clean and orderly environment

Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

Dispose of food waste and maintain proper sanitation practices

Monitor inventory and restock ingredients as needed

Assist with basic menu planning and cost awareness

Support the upkeep and proper use of kitchen equipment
Qualifications

Previous experience as a cook or dietary aide preferred

Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team environment

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

Friendly, reliable, and able to communicate effectively

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks

High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification is a plus
