We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Automotive Technician to join our fast-paced service team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, steering, and other key components.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems efficiently.
- Repair or replace ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) components to ensure vehicle safety features are functioning correctly.
- Perform wheel alignments and tire rotations to optimize vehicle handling and safety standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools safely and effectively.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer service experience.
Requirements
- Proven dealership or automotive service center experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles if applicable.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and interpreting schematics for electrical systems.
- Experience with ADAS calibration, diesel engine repair, transmissions, and powertrain components is highly desirable.
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service machinery confidently.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and general repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ASE certification or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
