We are seeking a strong, smart, and organized Production Manager to lead our orthodontic laboratory. In this position you will make it your top priority to ensure the delivery of high-quality dental appliances that meet and exceed industry standards. As the manager, you will work to create and execute an effective workflow daily / weekly / monthly production requirements, helping to define and meet goals, setting and ensuring that the team works within budgets, while also meeting KPI’s. You will ensure that the needed workload is structured, assigned to team members as needed, and that all needed resources to execute job responsibilities are available and ready for the team to meet company goals.
You will work closely with other team members and customers and thus must be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and customer service even in time sensitive situations. Identifying the highest priority items for the team workload is a must, while also being able to multi-task to ensure all team members have the support they need.
Duties
- Lead and manage the laboratory production team to identify and meet production timeline expectations.
- Develop and implement time sensitive workflows ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality
- Oversee the use of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and other digital tools to enhance precision and productivity in dental appliance fabrication
- Work and communicate with clinical teams to understand patient-specific requirements, ensuring accurate interpretation of dental impressions, imaging, and patient needs
- Monitor quality assurance procedures for precision
- Manage inventory levels of materials, equipment maintenance schedules, and procurement processes to optimize operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations by safeguarding medical records and documentation
- Lead efforts in staff training, infection control practices, and new fabrication technologies
Skills
- Production workflow and team managerial experience with proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire a goals driven team
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and patient assessment protocols
- Ability to utilize precise measurement tools for quality control purposes
- Strong understanding of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques within a clinical laboratory setting
- Competence in managing medical records while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA regulations
Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
