Overview
We are seeking an ASE certified Mobile Automotive Technician to service commercial fleet contracts. This field-based position focuses heavily on on-site preventative maintenance, including liquid flushes, oil changes, and comprehensive brake services. Additionally, candidates must be proficient in advanced automotive systems, as responsibilities will include emissions troubleshooting, computer diagnostics, and engine or electrical component repair. Applicants must possess their own professional tools and demonstrate the ability to work independently in a mobile environment."

Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using schematics, automotive electrical systems, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly.
- Repair or replace powertrain components including transmissions, engines, and diesel engine parts with precision and efficiency.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines to execute repairs to manufacturer specifications.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex problems related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality control guidelines while providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks accurately, and communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of work.
Experience
- Proven dealership or automotive service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools, schematics reading, and troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues.
- Hands-on experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of ADAS calibration, alignment procedures, transmissions, powertrain systems, and diesel engine repair is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software effectively.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients.
- Prior service technician experience involving auto estimating processes is advantageous for success in this role.
