Direct hire opportunity with our client in Sullivan looking for an experienced Painter on 2nd shift. (Spray Painters) Pay depends on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing cracks
- Mix, match, and apply paints and other finishes to various surfaces
- Use airless paint spraying equipment to achieve smooth and even finishes
- Follow blueprints, schematics, or design plans to ensure accurate application of paint
- Protect surrounding areas from paint splatter or damage during the painting process
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a painter or similar role
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in painting
- Basic auto body experience helpful
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
