This is a fully remote position open to Texas residents only.
The Role
This is not a passive support position. We're looking for a sharp, proactive paralegal who takes ownership, communicates with urgency, and helps move matters forward without constant oversight. What You'll Do
- Draft demand letters and professional legal correspondence
- Support estate planning and business transactional matters
- Manage pre-litigation workflows and documentation
- Communicate directly with clients in a professional and responsive manner
- Handle intake coordination and referral management
- Liaise with courts and related entities as needed
- Organize and maintain digital case files
- Support attorneys with both legal and administrative tasks
- Help improve internal systems, workflows, and firm organization
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of substantive law firm paralegal experience
- Must reside in Texas; Texas law firm experience strongly preferred
- Background in estate planning, business law, and/or pre-litigation preferred
- Exceptional written communication and drafting skills
- Highly organized, responsive, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
- Emotionally intelligent with a professional, client-facing presence
- Available during standard Central Time business hours
Tools & Systems
Familiarity with the following is a plus:
- Google Workspace
- AI-assisted workflow tools (e.g., Claude)
Compensation
Competitive, commensurate with experience.
