About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to produce precision components using CNC machinery. In this role, you will program, operate, and adjust CNC machines to meet exacting specifications, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your expertise in machine setup, tooling selection, and blueprint reading will be crucial to our success.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to machine components from bar stock, achieving precise dimensions and finishes.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining parameters, including speeds, feeds, and tooling requirements.
- Conduct first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to maintain part quality throughout production runs.
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
- Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job, optimizing machining processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of machine settings, tool changes, and production output.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers.
- 1+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CNC programming (G-code, M-code).
- Familiarity with CNC machine brands such as Hardinge, HAAS, Mazak, Ganesh, and Doosan.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues independently.
