As a FedEx Delivery Driver for Mendez Deliveries Inc, you will be the face of our company, delivering packages with a smile and ensuring customer satisfaction at every stop. Your role is vital in maintaining our reputation for reliability and excellence. You will navigate various routes, load and unload packages, and engage with customers to provide an exceptional delivery experience. Join us in making every delivery count! You will be operating out of the FedEx terminal 3402 Ellen Trout Dr, Lufkin Tx 75904 USA.
Pay: $160.00 - $200.00 per day (Based on experience and performance)
Trainee Pay - $130.00 (Temporary pay while you train no longer then 2 weeks)
Driver 1 - $160.00 per day (Basic Qualified Driver Pay)
Driver 2 - $170.00 per day (Qualified Driver Pay)
Driver 3 - $180.00 - $200.00 per day (Experienced Driver Pay)
What you’ll do
- Arrive at FedEx terminal 3402 Ellen Trout Dr, Lufkin Tx 75904 USA
- Drive a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver packages efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
- Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with recipients.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages as required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and report any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to streamline the loading process.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role. (If you have no experience, WE TRAIN)
- Strong driving skills
- Able to pass an extensive background check once application status has started.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
- Familiarity with route driving and local geography.
- Excellent customer service skills to enhance client interactions.
