Maintenance Technician Wanted

Zuhlke Properties is a family-owned real estate investment company that buys, remodels, and manages residential properties across Northeast and Eastern Nebraska. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our properties in top shape for our tenants and buyers.
Position Details
- Hours: 10–20 hours/week, flexible schedule, Possibly Full Time 35-40 hours/week
- Type: Open to either 1099 contract or W-2 employee — let us know your preference when you apply
- Pay: Competitive, based on experience
What You'll Be Doing
- Changing and rekeying locks
- Repairing and replacing windows
- General interior and exterior residential repairs
- Flooring installation and repair
- Drywall repair and patching
- Painting (interior and exterior)
- Minor electrical work
- Basic HVAC troubleshooting and repair
- Basic plumbing repair
- Landscape & Exterior Maintenance (Weed spraying, pulling, mulch placement, and Bush Trimming)
What We're Looking For
- Experience in general residential maintenance or a related trade
- Own reliable transportation and basic hand tools required for 1099 contractors; negotiable as part of a benefits package for employees
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
- Comfortable communicating with tenants and property owners professionally
