Duties
- #1 Facilitate lifting, racking & transporting client's vehicles for the sales process.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with vehicle drop-off and pick-up processes, ensuring a smooth and friendly experience
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, fluid replacements, tire rotations, and minor mechanical repairs using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs such as alignment checks or mechanical issues, communicating findings clearly to customers and technicians
- Manage the lot by organizing vehicles, assisting with heavy lifting when necessary, and ensuring vehicles are parked safely and efficiently
- Support Front of house by racking cars for inspections and removing when inspections are completed.
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive repair shop experience is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars, including minor repairs and service
- Familiarity with automotive fluids replacement, oil changes, tire service, and basic vehicle maintenance procedures
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment effectively
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle servicing and lot management
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
We don't want to call this position a "lube technician", you will change oil but that is not the point of the job. The main component of this role is assisting the front of house in performing their "speed inspections". We have a unique approach to automotive and part of it requires our vehicles to be inspected by our full front of house team with technicians assisting as needed. You would help by moving the vehicles in and out of the shop and performing basic maintenance as needed. This role will also have a cleaning component to help support basic needs of the store.
Pay: $25.75 - $31.01 per hour
