Family Dental At Wesley Chapel is looking for a caring and competent dental assistant who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients. This is a part time position. Pay will be based on experience/skills/ ability to perform responsibilities. Qualified applicants who can take on the responsibilities and skills outlined below are preferred.
Dental Assistant needed for Tuesdays & Thursdays. Office Hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm
Responsibilities & Skills include (and are not limited to the following):
- Welcome patients and prepare them for treatment, ensuring their comfort.
- Take dental x-rays.
- Assist the dentist chairside.
- Use Intra-oral scanner.
- Make temporary crowns.
- Provide post-operative care instructions.
- Take alginate impressions, pour and trim models.
- Clean up operatories after patient care is complete.
- Set up operatories, instruments and materials.
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
- Caring & Reliable.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Respect dental office regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Dental Assistant Certificate
- Dental Radiology Certification
- CPR
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
