Position Summary
Advanced Protective Services is hiring Unarmed Security Officers for flexible assignments throughout the Atlanta metro area. These positions support a variety of commercial and industrial sites and may include weekend coverage, mid-shift hours, or overnight shifts depending on operational needs.
Officers in this role are expected to maintain a professional presence, follow post orders, and provide consistent security coverage across assigned locations.Schedule Options

- Weekend shifts (day or night)
- Mid-shift coverage
- Overnight shifts (varies by assignment)

Location
Atlanta, GA Metro Area
* (Assignments may include surrounding sites within reasonable commuting distance)
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible security presence at assigned locations
- Control access and verify authorized entry when required
- Conduct patrols of interior and exterior areas as directed
- Monitor activity and report safety or security concerns
- Respond to incidents according to site procedures and training
- Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports and incident documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and emergency responders when necessary
- Follow post orders and company policies at all times
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background screening and drug test
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during shifts
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remain alert
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
- Experience in access control or patrol environments
- Familiarity with report writing and incident documentation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible availability (weekends and nights preferred)

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
