Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents for civil and water infrastructure projects
Perform quantity takeoffs and estimate labor, equipment, and material costs
Coordinate with preconstruction, field, and ops teams to prepare detailed proposals
Build pricing for materials, subcontractors, vendors, and internal resources
Evaluate project risks, timelines, and bid strategies for both conceptual and hard bids
Support post-bid buyouts and cost negotiations
Maintain accurate records and estimating systems across all bid phases
5+ years of estimating experience OR 3+ years with a related college degree
Background in civil, water, transportation, or commercial infrastructure (ideally $30M+)
Proficiency with HCSS, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar estimating platforms
Strong understanding of all phases of the bid lifecycle (conceptual through CD)
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estimates at once
Excellent communicator with strong collaboration and presentation skills
Prior experience with GC/contractor-side estimating required
