Job Title: Coin, Cash and Currency Processor - Warehouse Specialist
Location: Charlotte NC 28202
Contract: 06+ Months Contract
Pay rate - $25 to $27/hr. on w2
Shift - 5:30 Am to 2:30 Am Mon to Fri
Job Description:
1. 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced production environment such as manufacturing or similar highly regulated environments.
2. Previous experience with currency handling. Training will be provided.
3. Detail oriented skills which can follow procedures in a highly audited environment.
4. Self-Motivated personality with a sense of responsibility and getting the job done.
5. A team player who can be flexible with other members and time rotation.

- Only candidates who can pass a BG check should be submitted.
Responsibilities:
- Currency verification. Receive bulk currency deposits for automated note processing; perform prepping activities to prepare currency for processing, such as detecting notes of wrong denominations in each strap.
- Process each bundle received through the BPS (Banknote Processing System) which may reject currency due to possible lack of fitness or counterfeit status.
- Verify rejected currency through the RS (Reconciling Station), prepare unfit currency for IDA (Independent Destroy All); detect counterfeit currency; record individual bank differences resulting from such verification, as well as from the detection of deposit shortages and overages.
