Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct equipment parts and accessories using product knowledge and inventory management systems.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit card payments, and cash handling procedures.
- Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts shelves; conduct regular stock audits; utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking parts.
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, product recommendations, and follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain organized records of inventory levels, order history, and client interactions.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients or vendors; handle inquiries promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Previous dealership experience or retail sales background within an equipment environment is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of equipment parts, systems, and diagnostics.
- Proven ability to manage inventory effectively using CMMS or similar inventory management software.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, cashiering, and retail math to support sales operations.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, dealership operations, and customer relationship building is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills combined with communication abilities to coordinate tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
